Children enjoy music activity in Norristown Early Head Start center-based classroom

MCC expands into Delaware and Montgomery counties, suburbs of Philadelphia.

In 2003, MCC is chosen to manage Montgomery County's first Early Head Start program, located in Norristown.

Felicia Washington, Drexel MPH Recipient, and Drexel Associate Dean and MCC Board Member Nathalie Bartle discuss Felicia's research on breastfeeding that she conducted at MCC.

MCC takes the lead on locally and nationally recognized research projects on breastfeeding, teen pregnancy, food stamps, and smoking cessation, among others. Dozens of MCC staff present at meetings of the American Public Health Association and other national conferences.

The Celebrating Mothers fundraising campaign grows every year. Donors can make a donation to MCC and have a Mother's Day card sent to the woman of their choice.
